OFAC Visual Credit Union donates to SpiriTrust Lutheran hospice program

OFAC Visual Credit Union announced a donation of $5,000 to SpiriTrust Lutheran for its hospice program, which provides in-home medical, spiritual, and emotional support to help patients and families cope with the challenges and fears of a life-limiting diagnosis.
“OFAC Visual Credit Union is pleased to make this donation to SpiriTrust Lutheran, which helps guide families through a difficult time,” said Tim Henry, President and CEO of OFAC Visual Credit Union. “Hospice programs give loved ones the opportunity to laugh and love in life’s final days, and to experience death with peace and dignity.”
SpiritTrust Lutheran hospice patients and their family members receive spiritual care and support from skilled nurses, compassionate caregivers, grief counselors, and volunteers. OFAC Visual Credit Union’s donation will be used to help underwrite expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are very grateful to OFAC Visual Credit Union for its generous contribution, which will make a huge impact towards helping us to compassionately provide vital end-of-life care services in our community,” said Dhaval Patel, Vice President of Home Care & Hospice, SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice. “The past 18 months have been difficult for everyone, but especially for those living with advancing illness and their families. This kindness will support the work of our dedicated team as we continue to support those in need and their families.”
In 2021, OFAC Visual Credit Union has donated $75,000 to local schools, healthcare facilities, and community organizations to assist with COVID relief efforts.
